For the price of a new Robbins top why bother with patching up a dry turd?

OK - I will explore both options - is Robbins the canvas type (not that I know the difference) but I heard the canvas is better - not sure why though?

how much is the top? and how much is the installation? How is it different from the OEM? How long does it usually last?

Thanks

Google can tell you a lot more a lot quicker. Not trying to be a dick but it's all there man if you look. Robbins is a company that sells aftermarket tips for many makes and models. The OEM top material is vinyl which is super easy to clean and maintain but the factory material is prone to rip and tear in the usual spots. Canvas cloth is an upgraded material they also offer which comes factory in higher end vehicles like Mercedes and bmw which is a lot harder to maintain and clean. The price of install like anything varies by the installer, if you go to a shop it's labor time x hourly rate and if you find someone like myflys2k who just charges a flat, cash rate it will be cheaper for you. As far as how long it will last, it's all in how anal you are in keeping it in pristine condition using the correct products.

What was the size of the Lizard Skins used? Cheers. How much are those original roof patches?
