Oh but on the dragon or any of those back roads FI S's stop twice as much lol
I should bring a gas tank for the trip
Don't do it... It will make your whole trunk smell. If it tips/spills, now you have gasoline everywhere.

If I remember correctly, two 20L jerry cans fit perfectly in the cutout in the trunk. Ive gone on fuel runs for my seadoo in the S. Just take them down empty and fill them up there. Key is to put the lid on with a grocery bag inbetween the cap and can. Never leaks for me. Then refuel every time you come back to your home base.

Or is that 2 cases of beer that fit in the cutout?
Or both?

Either way, a good time...

I was going to bring some of Costa Rica's finest brew. The gas can would be empty on the way there, fill it up, keep it sitting outside the car where everyone was go for a drive. More of a precaution I figure.

Don't bother bringing gas cans. Plenty of gas stations down there including the Harley davidson gas station with 115? Octane

The biggest reason I say don't do it, is because that's a long trip to have a gas can in the trunk for. Even if it doesn't spill, it still smells. I wouldn't want to have all my stuff in the trunk around a gas can. A short run to get gas for a seadoo, I've done something similar to that before. I've had a gas can in the trunk for the track as well. Just wouldn't do it for a trip.

As far as I know there are none too close by, at least that have 91+ not to mention a combination of high output injectors and high revving driving.

Now to be a snarky asshole about it, Vipers have a 22 gallon tank and give 12mpg = 264 miles. A stock s2000 (never mind mine) has a 13.2 gallon tank and gives 18mpg = 237.6 miles.

93 octane is everywhere in MERICA!! I never had any issues with running out of fuel or finding great BBQ places to eat
