I did find it weird that this was planned for Mother's Day weekend. Isn't it usually a bit earlier?
It's like having a wedding on a holiday weekend!

securing a large venue can be tricky. Especially when the date held years in advance got cancelled a few years ago.
on the other hand, lots of drivers thought early April was too early anyways.

poor guy, lol.

Mother's day isn't that big of a deal when it comes to Dragon dates, just call the old lady from NC and give her your regards and you should be fine, or send some on-line flowers, lol.

The idea being bounced around is taking two days to get home.if we do that, what day should we go to the event.? I was hoping to take 3 days to get to fontana wednesday night. . That would mean an 8 day trip.
possibly too long for some.

Or I'll just bring her ashes along with me and she can enjoy the ride. Mom always loved being a passenger on the autocross course, so RTD really isn't that much different, right?

By the description of your mother I think she would be thrilled to be taken to the Dragon Darcy, what a novel idea..

I'd love to make it back to one of these events again, timing wise I just can't swing it this spring though. Also not having an S2000 anymore would seem odd, as I'd have to take my 2000 Acura Integra GSR or my 19 WRX, both fun cars but not S2000's ?

the car is never a problem- we just want to share the event with whom ever. Ted brings along a Mustang or Camaro and we don't make fun of him...much. now, if you brought a Prius...
