S2000 Airwalker Replica Kit
Hey guys just picked up an Airwalker kit. Front, sides, and a rear... The rear looks like GP sport Replica.
Any tips of perfecting fitment? It doesn't fit perfectly, so I expect to do some necessary sanding. Would you suggest using a dremel for that?
I plan to sand first, fit, prime, wetsand, base coat, sand (if necessary), mid coat, and final coat, then 2 clear coats.
What do you guys think? Also should I plan to paint somewhere elsewhere than my garage... it being at a cold temperature?
Ill take pics and keep you guys updated. Hopefully I dont butcher

Attaining a great fit on aftermarket urethane and fiberglass parts is an art in itself. A Dremel may come in handy but you will need other tools to perfect the contours. You will spend countless hours getting the fit to where you are satisfied then the finishing will start, this will take many hours as well. You may want to outsource the painting as automotive painting is very difficult to perform by a DIY'er without the proper tools and knowledge.
Good luck with your project and post some pics!
