Default Seat Locks - Where to buy

Hi again everyone. Can anyone recommend some seat lock bolts (for a 2003 car)? I have done some reading and am trying to find some that are safe to use in case of a crash

I got mine during a group buy, but they don't seem to be available any more. Before I got them I was running some home made locks, easy to get the parts and do them yourself. I could give you some pointers on how to make your own.

Avoid stainless steel bolts as they are not recommended in terms of safety as they can't take the force needed. High grade steel bolts are the only way to go.

Kodokan may still be selling his kits , not sure though , there is a thread on that somewhere on the forums.

Thanks for the info! I sent Kodokan a message. If I cant find any I might just take you up on your offer and do some home made locks myself. Thanks!

Yes I bought his, they are decent, but he was doing a limited run, if you can locate him and send him a pm he might have some left over.

Lots of guys angry at Kodokan bc he took our money and disappeared. It's been almost 3 years since I sent my money order to him and all it's been is crickets.

I have Cinaibur's and am quite happy with them. Not sure if he's doing another run, but search https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/193...ons-and-parts/

Last year when cinaibur showed up with his bolts I ordered them right away because I knew at the time that Kodokan might not be online for a while.

Cinaibur's bolts seem legit as far as I'm concerned.
He also provides great feedback while the transaction is occurring and advises you of time parcel was sent.

There was also the issue I believe that Kodokan requires a sent cheque or something like that. Honestly I dont quite understand his method of payment, and Cinaibur was a payment with CC over Paypal.

I sent Kodokan a cheque like 3 years ago when I first got the S2000. It was never cashed so I don't really care, but yeah he's kind of off the map

Here is Kodokan_4's seat lock thread.

cinaibur discontinued selling them as the bolts he got were only intended to be used as an accessory bolt, not as a safety device, which he didn't find out until after his first group buy. IIRC, he was misinformed by his supplier.
