I know this is probably late notice, but I was registered for this Saturday's lapping at Shannonville's Fabi track (the back one), and now I might not be able to attend. Is anyone interested in taking my place for $125? They are limiting the number of cars to 40 or less, of which only half are on at a time. All spots are taken, and unless you registered a month in advance, the price would have been $150. Start time is 8:45am, ending at about 5pm. Last year, when everyone got tired of lapping, there was a unanimous vote to move to the drag strip for a bit to cut the "monotony".
It's a close-knit group of friends that organized it, so everyone knows each other by one or two degrees of separation, which also means they'll all be driving carefully and following the rules. See www.vandelay.ca for details.
