Shops for uk exhaust mod
Hi guys looking to do the uk exhaust mod on the car. Wondering if any of you had it done and any shops you recommend. If you could include cost that would be great. I know it's not that hard and most muffler places can do it but I don't feel comfortable with just going to any random place. Thanks

Tech tune exhaust, Steve did mine for $100. He mig welded it so it's not as pretty as if you were to tig weld it but the point of UK mod for me was being cost effective, if I had to spend 3-400 to get it done I would just buy an aftermarket exhaust

Thanks s2jizzer. $100 is a great price. Not sure about ugly welds though (kinda anal) ... how bad is it?
Something like this?

Don't mind spending a bit more ... I actually prefer the sound of this mod over most aftermarkets from what I've seen on youtube

Give d'muffler mechanix (they go by dspeed too) a call, they did my custom system, and it's absolutely stunning the quality of work they did. They will be pricy though, but it might be worth it if you're not planning on going aftermarket in the near future.

It's worthwhile spending some extra money and getting the parts TIG welded, with an argon gas flush. Otherwise, the welds will crack due to carbon precipitation in the heat affected zone.
They should look like this:
