Should I trade My Car For This?
Hey just need some opinions with a trade.
here is the link. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-c...QAdIdZ238905857
He said that the car only has cosmetic damage no frame damage, welding , etc.
I could probably take it to a body shop, and could they tell me if it had frame damage and had it repaired ???
I have an 05 tsx silver 6speed clean title with 115 kms on it pretty much stock just intake runs mints.
the deall im thinking is my car for his car + plus 2grand cash ?
What do you guys think about this. ?
Thanks in advance for the replys.

I'd first have to ask what your intentions are for the car? If you plan to heavily modify it and to thrash it around the track, then do it... Otherwise, it will never be a virgin again, no matter how much you try

I just looked up the values roughly of the 2005 TSX, you only want 2 grand on his side?

If it drives straight as in jump on the 401 let go of the wheel and see how straight it is. If it has no frame damage then it's not a demon of the earth! I have driven mine for 20,000khms and no problems at all. It's just the resale value on the S2k you will be loosing when selling again.

Ask for pictures of damage if he or she has them before the repairs were done. This will always tell you more than they are saying in words. Look up the carfax on it and see if there is any record of the damage and what it was. Somehow its hard to believe that a car would be written off without any damage (unless it is a theft recovery) that had no frame damage. I speak from experience...

But he isnt getting it for resale value. He isnt paying very much for it, now often you see an s2000 at $12, 000 is it? Rebuilt title would be the reason.
