I suspect painting it Sebring or Berlina would be good options. I imagine you could get a great job done for way less than the price of a new HT.
But maybe the real question what is the difference the dealer will give you in trade or if you sell it outright if you let the Silverstone go with the HT? Would it be worth more if you sold the car as a "package"? If so then just buy a new HT, maybe even come down to Rochester and have Hardtopguy meet you at my house and he could do the install there. He just recently did that for an Upstater. Oh wait, sorry, you would want Canadian warranty and that would not work, sorry, just trying to help.

umm....not a bad idea, actually......
besides, a warranty on a hardtop almost seems non-sensical....what warranty issues could possibly arise in and of the hardtop itself???
also, as an accessory, it is only covered for one year, anyway.....not the life of the car.....even if purchased with the car.

I was thinking the HT was covered by the extended warranty if installed by the dealer.
The only thing I could think that the warranty might help with is things like fit has gone to crap, strakers need to be replaced, and stuff like that. Hmmm, I thought someone in Toronto just went through that...
But yes, if it works out you want to do it down here, if there would be a savings, then by all means, my garage is always open for a friend with an S. But remember, leave Johnny home...
