sorrry noob question

I want to become a member, which admin do I have to email to? Or do I have to go abouts it another way?

Thanks in Advance

You don't have to go through an admin to join. click 'MyS2K' at the top right hand corner...then under 'general options' click 'Pay for Membership' i think...and from there, you can chose whether you want a Gold Membership, or a basic. then you should be set. enjoy, and welcome.

What does becoming a member actually mean?

I've just been too shy to ask this before.

Too shy? :)

Becoming a member means that you donate money to the site to further its operation. 20 for basic, 50 for gold and you will notice that the guest under your name will now say member.

You get access to photo hosting, a bigger PM box, pretty stars under your name, an S2Ki email address, less adds when you view the site, and probably some other stuff I forgot.

Another question...
I want to become a member, but don't have paypal. A friend of mine is a member and will complete the transaction for me, but the link doesnt work for him because he is ALREADY a member. How does one get around this?
