Haha... no I'm not.. I just don't see the point, the way this weather has been, my car will be stored by September.

How much difference does a strut bar make on the S anyway? I know it did a lot for the 4th gen Preludes but not as much for the 5th gens, since the chassis was much stiffer. I imagine the S's chassis should be stiffer than the 5th gen Prelude.. or not because it's a convertible?

William can you please explain more why connecting the bar to the strut tower oppose to the body would give better stiffness. I would believe the stock bar that connects to the body would provide more ridgidity...of course this is very much subjective.

BTW...put me in for the Spoon front bar

Hi Ian

the rigidity of the car are usually offset by openings that a car will have, for example the opening for the shocks, this area will have the least rigidity to it, that is why a strut bar putting here will have a major effect on the car, keep it firm and no flex whatsoever. The bar connecting to the body will help too, but to a lesser degree than a bar connecting to the weak points. Plus the strut bar will prevent the car from twisting when u are making a sharp turn. Therefore stabilizing the car to be in the corner as neutral as possible.
