Unfortunately no video to speak of. It was too much hassle. I did get hundreds of photos though

I got home today, I miss Germany already. On the way to the airport this morning I was doing 170 kph on the A3 and was getting passed like I was stopped, I could barely keep up with the middle lane traffic at that speed (and the speed limit was 130). My 2.0 TDI Diesel A4 had a 6th gear which was only useful over 150 kph.

Off the hook and in a different area code, Germany is AWESOME!!

Imagine if we have the autobahn here and the driving discipline to make it work. None of this street racing scare-mongering crap would be an issue, cause people who want to drive fast will just do it in the left lane without the need to duck in and out of traffic.

Imagine if the police strictly enforced the move right unless you're passing and no passing on the right laws and if those very simple rules we're drilled into people's heads as cardinal sins. That's all it would take to improve road safety and congestion.

And I think some people do think the 427 and 400 is the autobahn substitute, that's why we have almost daily closures from wrecks caused by these morons.
