new.
suspension is one thing i wont buy used
i'm hoping the spring rates work out; spent a bit of time doing number crunching to get those rates; so if they dont work out, it's the book's fault

hehe...i'm looking for something too (which is lower and retains the stock handling characteristics...) Don't want to spend too much, and like you, don't want to buy suspension used!

Update:
So I tried to install these sluts today to get ready for the track day tomorrow. Surprise, surprise, something has to go wrong. (For consolation, I did stumble across a deal on seats, so it evens out..and I sold my volks, but i digress)
The problem stems from the fact that the OEM dust covers wont fit the Koni-GC combo, since the OD of the dust cover is JUST slightly larger than the ID of the Eibach springs. Therefore, if you try to jam it on, the spring wont compress and you'll have zero suspension travel thus putting your wheel rate through the roof.
I tried a bunch of different methods, to no avail. Finally stumbled across this tonite:

I'll be giving that a try tomorrow and will update on here. Stay tuned
