Toronto Group Buys

hi Guys, I am getting my car on monday, :D well really should have been today :(
Anyhow, I was wondering if we can setup some group buys, I feel so left out as a lot of the group buys are only avail in US. I wanna get some Zenos :) and some good speaker/subwoofer for my car.

OH OH, and I have another request, does anyone else want their corners cleaned? I was reading the thread reguarding removing the orange corner piece in order to get the headlight the CLEAR look. and it happens that we broke our oven a few months ago, and thus I don' thave an oven. and i thought it might be easier if more than one person are to do it together. We probably end up saving time and do a better job. More brains the better. oh and ofcourse, I / We would need to get the amber lights for it. (turning and running)

Anyone up for it? : )

and hee, I want my calipers painted too ^^ : )

boy I have so much in mind for my car, hmm i think i should be worried more about my exams coming up first. hee hee :p

Hey there and welcome

Not to many GB's happen for Canada...its quite sad actually..but this is about to change for some items soon as I understand.

Lucid with his stereo gear and axcilla with his custom grills and metal works will be helping us out with some GB goodies in the near future.

No idea who's done the clear mod up here? I know Rahul had JDM housings installed however.

Hey knight, did they remove the stickers off my car yet? I wonder why my S2k has 3 km more then yours.
Well the first mod I might want to make is also to get the front lights cleared. Paying for EURO or JDM ($1,200) is just too much IMO. I'm thinking about going to a Perf Shop and see if they could do it for $350 or so.

How you driving your car home if you don't drive stick? I 'm stuck in sort of the same situation. I can drive stick, because my right arm is still badly broken so I'm having younger brother drive it home :( :( :(
How sad, the first person to drive my S2K will NOT be me. I'm hoping by the time I can drive, my hardtop will be in at least.

yep Simply can't afford the real clear lights yet, I am totally outta dough after buying this car. but I think it really looks ugly with the orange colours on my blue. I already order some clear side markers from ricks.

I think the reason u got 3 km is probably cause it's from a different dealer. My sales person/lady got it from some other dealership. Did u had to wait for urs to be made from Japan or was it bought from some other Dealer?

Well, my friend taught me how to drive it for 2 hour on his bro's prelude last week. So I had about 2 hour of practice :p so hopefully i'll make it home safely in markham. I tried finding some rental places but couldn't find any that rented standard anymore. Called at least 20 places grrrr.

The sales lady, and several of my friends already offered me to drive the car to mah house  but I said no no no no no. !!! hee cause I don't want anyone to put on that first 30 km or so that's not me.! grr

Yep they removed ur stickers already on saturday, if we didn't already had a black car, I would have got the black too : ) ;)

Oh just another thing, I was at the Alpine site (looking for an alarm system) and I saw that there is one located in markham ON www.alpine1.com I thought we can see if who's interested in getting one and maybe we can get a group deal from them ^^;

Noticed that a couple of your are thinking of buying replacement clear lights . Before you do, do a search on "lens replace" and check out "Clear corner mod HowTo (long)."

This will clear your lenses and won't cost you much more than your time.

don't want to take the chance of clearing them myself. you know of any perf shops that will do this?

I have read of a couple in the US. Maybe ask around on the HowTo thread for a local shop.
