TPC Track Day - Mosport DDT - Sun, Aug 13
Toronto Prelude Club in conjunction with Ian Law Racing will be holding a track school/day at Mosport Driver's Development Track on Sunday, August 13.
The day will be split into 2 groups with a school portion (to be taught by Iain) and lapping only. We will be using the Driver's Development track, and it will be open for all levels of drivers from beginner to advanced. You can choose to just do lapping, or for an extra cost, attending the Ian Law racing school. If you've never been on a track before, then take the school.
Lappers will lap when the students are in the classroom, and will take breaks when the students are on the course. Iain's instructors will be marshalling the course and helmets are mandatory. Passing will be limited to designated passing zones only and will be discussed at the driver's meeting.
Ian Law's racing school will cost $250, which includes classroom sessions with videos, in-car on track instruction, handbook and certificate. Lapping only will cost $160. Everyone signed up will have lunch included.
We're limiting this to 20 cars for lapping and 20 cars for the school. Space on the track is limited so please get your spot paid for if you want to make sure you're guaranteed a spot.
If interested, email money transfer to either "GrantTPC@sympatico.ca" or "GrantTPC@hotmail.com" AND send me an email or PM with your full name, address, phone number and car you'll be driving.
If there are any additional questions or concerns, feel free to email me at "somboa@gmail.com".
School = $250
Track = $160
Thanks,
Douglas

^^^ Yes as long as they're ok with following the rules. Ian Law's Racing school will be running the day so full marshalls, starter, etc. No passing except in the straight (will be discussed at driver's meeting) and even then with the cooperation of the car in front. No dive bombing in corners, etc.
Other than that, by all means come out! The more the merrier.
PM me info though if/when/once payment is made.

No because we're limiting lappers to 20. If we can't find the numbers ourselves, I'll be asking Ian to find some lappers and then we're still capping it at 20. We need firm numbers (and payments) so we ensure we don't end up losing money with the track rental, Ian's charges, lunch, etc.
Aug 13 according to my forecast is supposed to be sunny and 25 degrees.
