Hi there, I've owned S2000s for a few years now even though I am not very active here in this forum. I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about the history of this vehicle because the price is a little tempting to me. I have always been a fan of the Tracey sports kit but it is too expensive to bring it over.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, so at least I know that the kit on the car should be done very well lol. Now I am debating if I should try to sell my mostly stock 04 AP2 to fund myself for it....

Don't take anything for granted. Spend time looking at the kit, top to bottom, undercarriage for scraping etc. Do a leakdown/compression test. Look at the oil etc. Just because you work at a big shop, doesn't give you a pass on the basics (I speak from experience)

Some of the best mechanics I know drive the most beat up cars. Their bikes are always nice though.

Thanks! That's true. I am kind of surprised that the owner is inactive on this forum when he spent so much time and effort (assuming he did) on his car.

Thanks again for the info! I am still on the fence with whether or not I wanna go take a look at the car. Not sure if I will want all the attention I will get with the widebody and all since I haven't been pulled over for 5-6 years now and i wanna keep that going lol

I'd ask for a lower price and have him keep the rims. Body kit is decent, not my favourite but not too bad either. Nice low miles on that car though.

Im not too sure if he is willing to budge, I offer him my 04 AP2 which is mostly stock (except for coils and seats and other smaller stuff) and cash - which would be a hell lot easier for him to sell but he wouldn't budge
