Weird Clutch feel

The clutch slave is mounted on the outside of the clutch housing and only gets a bit of heat soak from the transmission. Generally, it would only be a few degrees over ambient temperature.

It gets dark quickly because of the crappy rubber hose going from the master to the slave and the so-so seals.

I change mine every couple of seasons.
I still do mine every year while I'm getting the brake fluid done at the beginning of the season... figured, might as well.

Yup, fluid. Were you thinking lines and seals?

There are SS braided lines available for the clutch. Not sure if they are any better than the stock lines.

My old AP1 had symptoms like this. The clutch throw out bearning grease was all dried up.
