What battery to get?

zeroptzero you should invest in a trickle charger if you don't have one already and make sure if your car is sitting for more than a week to have that little guy charging. Also don't ever run any accessories without the car running, my radio didn't last 30 minutes when I had my Braille and that's what killed it.
My 17 lb Braille has quite a bit more capacity than your 11 lb one, hence the reason I went with the 17 lb. I never use the radio when the car isn't running, I recall you mentioning that to me in the past so I avoid that totally. Thanks

The OEM battery isn't anything particularly special as far as size and such. Its just a 51 series battery which is the same for most honda's. I think the only difference is the terminals are reversed, but there should be enough slack on the wires to go that extra couple inches.

Ill try to desulfate my battery, it may help

A good electronic battery charger will de-sulphate as the first step in the charging process, I have the CTEK charger , but others do that too.

My Ctek is operating by a microprocessor, it will regulates the time and voltage. Ill borrow from a friend his 1990 motomaster with complete manual control

Your CTEK charger will de-sulphate just fine, it does it by varying the voltage and time, I think the old school chargers don't usually work as well in that regard ?.
