Default What does AP1 Stand for?
Simple question, I am sure that most of you know it.
But does AP1 actually stand for something?

Or is it just the model of the engine?

It's the chassis code

AP1 - '00-'03
AP2 - '04-present

F20C is the engine code

Or is he asking what does the A in AP1 stand for and what does the P in AP1 stand for and what does the 1 stand for..but i could be wrong

I was asking what the A and the P mean... but I guess it could just be a AP...

I thought AP1 stood for this car is the Alot Phaster 1.

It's just an internal code used by the manufacturer, every vehicle has a chasis/platform/program code. Calling an S2000 an AP1/2 is like calling a Porsche a 997, what the hell does that mean? lol
