Unmodified, the ap2 is faster at a track, that is the part that I enjoy .

Tire sizes, modified, they become very equal it seems. Wheels is the best modification for the ap1.

From my personal point of the view I find the AP2 much more appealing.

Looks much better, more tq across the band, interior is a little nicer, better trans, slightly better diff. I personally don't really care about the 9k vs 8k RPM debate because the tq curve starts to drop off after 8k on an AP1 anyways, so wringing it to 9k doesn't really make much sense performance wise (Yes I admite it's pretty awesome reving forever, lol), unless you have forced induction.

Only reason why I don't have an AP2 is soley because of my budget, only had a certain about to spend and I don't like borrowing money.
