doesn't need to be whatapp, any mobile platform would suffice as long as it works across most mobile platforms (droid, ios, crackberry, etc...)

Redundant

Large whatsapp groups get really annoying with the constant pings, to the point where you turn off notifications and then it just loses its value.

On a different note.... Have a Voxer group during meets so we can all communicate directions, pit stops, etc. obviously only if we have cellular reception :)

i'll say facebook group

I dont care enough about facebook to actually use it as a resource. I have been on facebook since 2005, and it just isnt the same anymore.

se used to have a BBM group a couple of years ago but it was really annoying with the constant stream of messages

my reasoning was vice versa
i know a few s2000 owners that use facebook but don't bother with forums
i tried persuading them into using this forum more often but they just never gotten into the habit of checking the forum.
i would say having both forum and facebook group would help spread events info
