will my new red seats go well with my wheels?
as some of you know i recently aquired red seats and door panels (panels ar e black with the red middle) they are sitting in my extra bedroom waiting to be put in
someone (you know who u are)recently told me it would look like crap with my wheels and i should have kept the black and now im a paranoid bastard. |
Dude it will look fine!!

Hmm, I love the red interior on the black, but your wheels are dark that might make it look funny. Your wheels make me think ALL BLACK.
Sell me your red interior ;) |

dude, it should be OK i think... just make sure you keep your car within 3 to 4 colours schemes at most... in general, the reason why a car is unattractive is because it uses too many colours
take for instance your average ricer: 1) blue car 2) yellow body kit 3) black tint 4) clear (white) reflectors 5) gunmetal wheels it's ugly because it has 5 colours - this is too busy and in general, results in an unaethetic appearance. but since your car so is: 1) black 2) bronze wheels 3) red tailight 4) clear (white) reflectors adding red seats will not significantly dilute your colour palette since your tailights are already red there are, of course, other factors to take into account, but in general, the theory works (... took some architecture back in first year university :D ) |
btw, here's a good example of the 4 colour rule
-look at your sig -picture your car with red seats, but orange reflectors -get garbage can -puke it's amazing how a single colour can change your car's appearance |
