hehehhe....
Rahul... how you doing man? that's not the car i saw you in... the one below is... :D http://images4.fotki.com/v43/photos/...jpg?1067490185 |
HAHAHA!!!! :D
|
The ORIGINAL lettering is vinyl and stuck to the car. It's a "protoype" north-americanized version... kinda cool - 6-speed auto, turbo 3-cyl... pretty slow but handled well... if this car ever makes it here, I'm sure there's going to be a few hopped up versions out there!
|
yeah... i saw that smart car in the Mercedes dealer in Thornhill sat in it.. pretty nice..
these cars are everywhere in Europe... they are great on milage and easy to park anywhere... in North America might be ok in City... i won't trust my life with it on the Hwyway though... |
Oh man, the turning circle is VERY small... It can turn around within 1 1/2 lanes.
It's supposed to run around $18,000-$21,000. |
i would go for that any day over the echo hatch!!
|
Heheh... It was REALLY REALLY fun to drive. There's a few in the city, they all belong to Mercedes Canada and are being driven by employees. I wanted to keep it for a day to see how it would be as a daily commuter car.
I'd buy one. |
let me know if you do get a chance to have one for a longer time... i wanna see how it is on the road...
i have only sat in it in the showroom... :( it's designed by SWATCH... engineered by MB... well worth the money... i heard in Europe that you can buy different colour panels and have it changed to your liking... not sure how easy that is... but heck they got lots of different look out there!! |
Ok next time I get a chance...
Basically, it's a bit heaver than a motorcycle. It takes turns quite well for it's height, although it really isn't that high. Suspension is firm, but comfortable. Handling takes a bit of getting used to. Steering is direct and quick. No power steering. Wow, so FUN TO DRIVE!!! |
