WTB: 2002+ S2K
 

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a 2002+ S. No accidents, good condition.

My budget is around $15-16k. Is this realistic?

Yes, however it'll have 100k+ for the majority of what's out there

The suzuka blue S2000 owner is on here also. I think it is a good buy if you can live with the all blue interior. If you plan on keep this car for a long time, you can slowly convert those blue panels into black ones. Once in a while there will be salvage S2000 parts for sale and you can pick up some black interior panels.

Your budget might be a little too low for AP2s if you're looking for ones without accidents or any rebuilt titles. And of course it seems to me that rebuilt titles isn't something you'd be looking for

Mileage is not an issue with these cars, these cars tend to last real long.

You should probably be able to get one, but not if you are picky. I have bought 3 S2000s and have seen many for sale. Most of the one I saw were very rough.

As stated already, you should be fine for an AP1 with over 100k KM.
Late model AP2 is out of your range unless it's in rough shape.

Paid 26k CDN~ for my 06 AP2 - Rio Yellow, Claim for soft top being slashed open (in 08), paint in 8/10 shape, fully stock.
Paid a bit more than I wanted but it's extremely hard to find a S2K in the GTA that is stock and hasn't been modified before.

Well, there have been a few garage queen's out there with under 50k KM but for 32k CDN~

I'll be listing my car up shortly, its an 04 AP2 w a little less than a 100k. Haven't decided on pricing yet but it'll be a couple thousand more than your budget, PM me if you're willing to stretch it a little and we can talk

Hey everyone, thanks for the feedback, I did do quite a bit of reading on the stickies here.

I actually went to see the suzuka blue one, and put a deposit on it :)

Seller was really nice, met me at my mechanic (Hank @ GPA), who looked it over, drove it, etc and gave the green light. I'll be picking it up later this week once he has it safety certified and e-tested.

Then I'll be giving it a nice hand wash, then straight to the garage until it gets warmer lol

This is my 16th car, so hopefully this'll give me the satisfaction I've been searching for!

Looking forward to coming out to any Mississauga/West end meets this summer.
