I don't like street racing, but this new interpretation is giving the cops too much power.
If I'm pulled over in my Porsche going 155 in a 100, even if I'm not being dangerous...could the police call it street racing? Yet a person in a minivan full of kids going 145, on her/his cell phone, with no brakes, bald tires, and driving like an idiot gets a simple fine?
Even DUI drivers get treated much better than someone suspected of street racing/driving too quickly.
As an aside - the police followed some Corvettes flying on to the 407 and it was said they couldn't get close enough to the vettes to get their plate numbers. The "genius" police officer should have written down the time, and the 407 would have records/photos of the plates......
I'm glad I can get my fill of speed on the track, otherwise I'd sell my car.
P.S. I'm around Mikey, been busy with work, bought a house/moving etc.
