3 coats.. no problem.. that's half a bottle.. 1oz.

NOOOooooo problem..

El dente , dunno if I can fit in the cooking part with all that zaino'ng I'll be doing Marco ?

s2kdarren - no problem.. there will be lots to learn from Homer2, I'm fairly certain you'll become addicted to the stuff when you look at your car.

Marco, perhaps we can get the stuff off bonk's car at my house and have it installed onto your car that day too?

However, this weekend is a bad weekend for me.... major exam next Tuesday.

we should also take into account what's currrently on the car ?

Zaino ? or some other wax ? Because then we (yes I said "we" ) would have to start the entire process from Dawn > claybar > etc.. etc..

So we'll know how to approach each vehicle ?

I could really "mulder" this and have signs made with check boxes on them.. indicating who has what , and where we are in the process of zaino'ng.. been there done that.. 8 x 11' signs with checkboxes for - dawn, clay, z7, zfx/z2 or z5, z6 etc. etc.. (homer2, I'm sure you've done that before ? no ? )

The reason I suggest , is that with everyone around, outings like this tend to get more social and with multiple cars, and people you tend to forget where you in the process applying/removing. We all know how easy it is with zaino to misplace where you've been.

For example, my sign was like this
(Substitute Check boxes for the dashes) to get a better picture. This just helped keeping things go smoothly instead of who did what ? when ?

-dawn
-clay
-z7 wash
-coat 1 (zfx w/ z2 or z5)
-coat 1 removed
-z6
-coat 2
-coat 2 removed
-z6
-coat 3
-coat 3 removed
-z6
-you're done , read for photoshoot

just my $.02

Affa - sounds good, we don't have a date yet. Once we know who is committed Homer2 will contact his buddy with the detail shop and set up a date...if that falls through we can do it at my place...so date tbd..

Simon, good idea!

i've had it detailed a couple of times, but i have no idea what type of product was used....

i would love for it to be done from scratch....
