Default Want to buy: 2000-2003 S2000

Hi there,

I recently lost my 2000 S2000 in an accident and am interested in buying another (AP1). I prefer it to be as original as possible, but minor modifications are acceptable (ex: exhaust). Upgrades addressing the factory weaknesses are strong points (upgraded timing chain tensioner, AP2 intake retainers and cotters, axle nut re-torque). The car must have a clean title, no rust, and the interior must be in good shape. Original paint is a bonus, but not mandatory. I am looking for something with up to slightly over 100,000 kms. The car must be able to get a safety and e-test done without a problem.

I am budgeting around $18,000 CAD for this, but I am slightly flexible on this. If you are interested, please message me through this forum or send a direct email to ndushenko@yahoo.ca with as much information about your car, including pictures and a phone number.

Thanks for reading

OEM trunk carpet.

1. Piece that covers spare tire
2. Bottom floor piece with cardboard cover
3. Piece closest to you covering the rear

Just to give you a little perspective- I sold my 2003 with 117K, relentless maintenance, fantastic interior, and all upgrades completed above, Silverstone. I would say, you will want to perhaps budget a little more for a gem- very few, if any s2000's on CL, K, auto trader etc will meet all those requirements. Expect to take 6 months+ to find that perfect car, especially now with the Canadian dollar being in the toilet.
Now, my suggestion is consider importing a JDM s2000- 2003's are now 15 yrs old- extra bonus!

Gonna be looking for a set of wheels for my car to run next season. I'm stock fenders unrolled so I'm looking for something 17x9 +60 range although I'm not opposed to rolling my fenders and going into the +45/50s offset range (but definitely nothing that requires more than a simple roll + tab relocation). I'm thinking something like TC105Ns or Advan RG-Ds etc...If you have wheels for sale between now and spring hit me up!

Christmas is coming!
are you looking to go square set up or OEM sizing? I may be convinced to part with black AP2 OEM sized OZ allegeritas.

Definitely prefer 17x9 square but depending on the wheels I might be willing to go staggered 17x8/17x9

Looking for 17x7.5 or 17x8 with ~40mm offset (5x114.3) for my daily civic, something relatively light and inexpensive.
Thanks.
