FS 2004 Rio S2000 Mint
Hello guys,
I am reluctantly selling my 2004 Rio S2000 with 50 000km. I am the second owner and the first owner was my cousin. I am now selling because apparently the S2000 isnt practical enough for my wife and newborn.....
Car is absolutely mint and I had a S2000 before this one so taking care of this car wasnt anything new to me. Oil change every 5 000km and tranny and diff every 10 000km. Soft top is mint and always has that aerospace spray stuff on it. Top is always lubed with Shinitzu grease.
I bought the car from my cousin stock except for a set of CR front and rear sway bars installed. Since then I have installed KW v3 coilovers and an Amuse R1 exhaust. I have also just recently installed new Yokohama AD08R tires on CR / Type S wheels with matching black honda lugs and locks. Also has brand new Honda OEM brake pads and mugen rotors.
Car will include OEM tonneau cover, OEM suspension, OEM exhaust and I can throw in a Mugen ap2 header.
Asking $29, 000 Sold
Looking for quick sale otherwise its getting traded in for something boring with 4 doors.....

Such a clean and perfectly complete S! If you don't end up selling it and trade it in, I would be interested in the CR wheels, sway bars, and coilovers! I do have the parts to bring your S back to stock including wheels!
Glws if not.

I just joined the S2k world, and am also a new Dad (my daughter is just over 3 months old now).
My wife actually egged me on to get the S2000 - all you need is one practical 4-5 door (we got a base CVT Impreza hatch, and it has been fantastic for family hauling).
Of course, this assumes you have garage space for 2 cars.
In any case, GLWS and congrats!
EDIT: I am coming from a BRZ, and I would recommend checking if you can fit a rear-facing car seat in that (it does have the LATCH anchors). My wife and I loved our 2013, and if not for the fact that my lease ended just before our baby arrived, I'd have tried to put a car seat in there (my wife is only 5' 1 so I have little doubt it would have worked). And the bonus is you wouldn't feel the need to be as precious with it, given that the Toyobaru is still in production.

Thank you daiheadjai, I used to have a FRS and it was a nice car but I dont think my wife wants to deal with getting our son in the back of a 2 Door. Funny thing is about the FRS it was a nice car but it made me long for another S2000 because of how poor the build quality of the FRS was.
I have a NSX and my wife has a CT200h which is great on gas but absolutely terrible int he winter because the traction control is so intrusive, the RWD FRS was actually way better int he snow. She just wants us to have another practical cal instead of two 2 seater cars. I had a garage built last year to fit my cars downtown so space is ok.
Cheers,
Chris
