Just installed my brushed shift knob. WOW, absolutely amazing. The fit and finish is second to none, and its a bargain at this price! The feel is solid, and I was amazed at how heavy a pound really is .

I have not driven with it, but put the clutch in and ran through the gears a couple times. Holy heck its like butter now. I feel like with the increased inertia of the shifter you can almost just slap it from 2nd to 3rd. Huge improvement over stock and other aftermarket knobs(coming from a Momo knob).

Thanks for a great product!

I sure am! I have it at about the middle height, and will most likely try to raise it up higher tonight. It is a bit low for my taste right now. Any chance you could possibly offer a shifter extender? Maybe like a 1-3" extension so for track events we could get the knob higher. I would really be interested in something like this, especially if it was coated black so it would match the factory shifter. I think it could be really clean and oem looking. You could also do a fillet on the inside section, that threads onto the oem shifter. This would allow it to to be more flush, and wouldn't look modified.

I can send you a solid model if your interested. I could draw it up real quick in Pro-e.

Well I am working on a short shifter which will have an option to be raised up higher than stock while keeping the throw shorter than stock still.
Haven't thought about a shifter extender or anything yet though.

Got it.
I think the brushed are sold out now. I will double check around but looks like I am out until my next order arrives.

ok, lets hear some reviews, you guys have had these knobs for a while now. my biggest concern is heat, how hot is the brushed and the powder coated getting in the sun?

hot.

I just cover it with my 2 yr old daughter's sock. I also had a friend sew up a vinyl knob cover for me too. She sells them for like $20 or something like that locally. Screen name is Lolaredcar.
