Burnt Titanium bolts/washers. Just arrived! $5.99
Just got a shipment in of the bolts/washers. Gonna clean them up nice and then get to burning them.
Intro price will be $5.99 per Titanium bolt/washer combo!!!! Shipping will be a flat rate of $4.90 for Priority Mail small Flat Rate box. Nothing too new here but just a Titanium washer and titanium (Not stainless steel like others) bolts. Got some in to check out myself and been burning them today. Since they will be hand burned no 2 will be identical. I will be selling them per set. I don't have any good pictures yet but just a few snapped pics at the moment from my Iphone. Once they are polished they will be available in plain titanium finish, burnt finish, and possibly anodized finishes depending on the outcome of the samples I have being done now. These are made from 100% titanium both washer AND bolt. These are finished washers not an ordinary flat titanium washer. I might get those as well if people are interested. EDIT: New pictures. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...c1c3573798.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...f2a202db36.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...7355ffd991.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...21c3920bf2.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...cdfeb9a928.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...600783aecb.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...02b5ec946b.jpg |
Burn the top of the bolt and I'll take like 20.
Yeah bolts being ti are very easy to burn as well. Just wanted to get a couple done quick. I'll post a few pics of the burnt bolts as well tomorrow.
Yeah, I'll buy some. I love Ti.
Count me in!
OK cool. I think I'm gonna get a batch of 300 or so and see how they go. Worst case scenario every single bolt in my car will have one of these hahah.
Anyone know the rear license plate bolt thread size? I tried one of these bolts which fit all over the engine bay but are a bit too large for the license plate holes so would like to get some that will fit there as well. |
good idea
I'll take a set.
I like them, definitely post some pics of the tops burnt when you get em & i'd be interested in a few
I'll get a few pics of the burnt bolts. Pictures of those didn't come out good.
Need to burn at a lower temp as well as they heat up and color basically instantly with my torch I am using now. Here's a couple more pictures of some of the washers I burned earlier today. Just put 15 of them in my engine bay. Had to use a bunch of non ti bolts as the ones I had were not long enough so ordering longer bolts to fit everywhere in the bay. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...02b5ec946b.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...c1c3573798.jpg |
Please let us know when we can order these. I will be waiting.
Will they fit where the radiator stays are? Can you show all the places they can go? |
Hey yes they will fit there. Just put them on my car there.
I put 15 of them in my engine bay. I'll take pics tomorrow as I'm out today. Can fit a few more in engine bay if you want as well. |
When can I order?
It will be a little while. I only had a small sample order of the bolts and washers to see how they looked and all. I will be ordering a few hundred of them hopefully tomorrow. Once I get them in I will get busy burning them. I am hoping I should have more in about 2 weeks time from now.
I'm first!
So, exactly how many goes in the bay? I see you say 15, but there has to be more than 15 places.
There are a few spots on the fuel rail, spot holding heatshield by battery probably some other places but not as viewable as the 15 spots I put them. I can look more and count every possibly spot.
You ever get that engine heat sheild worked out or did I miss it? You should incorperate these into that.
They have been delayed due me having car issues and now being sc'd so can't test fit them on. I should be working on them this week and hopefully get it all sorted out.
If people wanted I could do a custom one and use these ti bolts/washers for them. Would only do that for special requests I think though. Could do that for the carbon fiber one for a real nice looking setup! |
I would only buy a carbon fiber one. lol.
Are the bolts only available with an allen head only?
Yes I believe that is how they will be available. If someone wanted a large order I could get a different head made but would have to be a lot of interest for that. Allen head bolts seem to be the most popular ones for this kind of bolt from what I have seen.
I should have about 250 of them available in approximately 2 weeks time as long as all goes as planned.
Did some more of them today.
Again my camera and camera skills really blow the big one so look tons better in person! https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...52283a5223.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...7a0a2ea701.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...48ee01165a.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...5c5b2370b9.jpg |
Damn... These are gonna look so good in my car. I can't wait man.
I'm thinking they look the best with gold-purple-blue. Any input from those interested how they should be burnt? Of course being these are made by hand they will vary and some will have more of one color than another etc.
The newest upload pictures personally I think look the best with the contrast from the gold. |
I say not too much gold. But in all honesty, I'd buy them either way. My ARC shift knob needs some friends. It has some gold in it too, so like I said, I'm already sold.
Ok cool. I'll keep burning them and see how they turn out. However the gradient finish is, they seem to look nice anyways imo.
I'm very interested in these. They will look much better than the mugen license plate bolts I have now. These will go great with lugs and shift knobs.
 Just waiting on them to get in now and then will have lots available.
Was originally going to get a bunch anodized as well. Any interest in that and if so which colors anodized?
I live in Bergen County. Can I meet up with you one day to pick some up? Probably get a heatshield too.
Yeah for sure man. I should have heat shields and these bolts in stock in 2-3 weeks. Shift knobs next week.

I'l take some of the unfinished titanium or anodized silver. Cheaper the better :D
I think the price will most likely be the same for all finishes just to make it simpler and material is what costs me not the labor really.
I have a vibratory tumbler on the way so should polish them up real nice with that for a different look. |
Just got a shipment of the washers/bolts in. I need to polish them up a bit and then get to burning.
Introductory price set at $5.99 a set(1 Washer and 1 bolt) If wanting the majority of the engine bay, all around the fender and front bumper etc including the radiator stays and battery bracket it looks like it will be 19 bolts/washers needed. I used 15 in my engine bay but my cooling plate covers 4 on the fenders (2 on each side) I will have better pictures once I get them finished and probably open up a new thread with all the details and pictures. |
FYI I have seen plenty other companies make titanium washers/bolts for engine bays. Nothing new about it.
:iagree: but this is a great price too!!!! i plan on picking some up.
I am fan!!!!
hey would these work on the spark plug cover?
I think they would have to be a different type of bolt. I'm sure I could get those as well if people would be interested in them though. I can get the thread type and all tomorrow and see what they will cost. They won't show up as much being burnt though as they are kind of hidden already.
ok, then what about the valve cover?
Would also have to be a different bolt. I can get any size bolt out there but would need to have some interest in it to make it worthwhile to put an order in and then I can burn them or anodize them most colors.
I will definitely be purchasing these from you.
Great! I'll shoot you a PM once they are in stock and ready to go!
Please keep things on topic.
Thanks :) |
^Thank you!
Some of my shipment were not perfect so waiting on some replacement washers before putting them up for sale. On another note I have lots of stainless steel finish washers/bolts coming in which will be a MUCH cheaper alternative and still give a great look under the hood! These should cost about 1/3 the price of the Ti ones. |

Problem with the stainless ones is you can't anodize them. So those would be only in a stainless finish. They will be a different design as well. I have a new batch of the ti ones as well being produced. They will be similar but a slightly improved design from what I had posted here. Once I have them in I will put up pictures and post a new thread for them.
Here are a couple pictures of a few of the finishes I will offer on the new washers and bolts. The bolts will be the same but washers will be a little different to not look so bulky.
I will of course offer them in a burnt finish as well. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...c767b3c86d.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...c9217e02a2.jpg |
