For the combo tank, yes the cruise control has to be relocated. We do not currently offer a cruise control relocation kit. I believe they can be fairly easily relocated to the cross member brace.
The coolant overflow tank is plug and play with no need to relocate cruise control or drill or anything. Simply slides in.

I can do a DIY on moving cruise control to the cross member if your interested. Takes less than 30min. No having to extend any wires or anything.
Heres a picture of where mine is at. If you need a write up on moving there i can do so. Basically I used 2 sided 3M molding tape and used 2 of the screws from the stock bracket to pinch the top part of the cross member. Been there over a yr and still holding strong. Wrapped a zip tie around it in case it did come off but never did have a problem with it. 3M 2 sided tape is some serious stuff if applied properly by cleaning the surfaces with alcohol and then heating the surfaces with a hair dryer or heat gun before applying the tape,
