Are we going to just keep the bad ones? I ask because I'm tempted to see if I can open them and fiddle around. I'm not sure if they're permanently sealed, or what, but I didn't want to damage the case if you thought you might need them back[?]

Yeah, I don't want you guys to spend any money and send them back to me.
You can definitely make them work without blowing the fuse. You just need to make sure that the center part of the LED doesn't touch both terminals that hold bulb.
Also, feel free to mess with them

FWIW, I did replace my 7.5a fuse, dome lights are back (regular OEM bulbs) and the new trunk LED is up and running (along with the tag). Looks awesome!
Can't wait for the dome replacements.
If you wind up designing a plug ~n~ play setup for some additional interior LED lighting (like the footwells), I'd be down with that too.

Good to hear! Glad you're enjoying them.The footwell lights are a WIP, and will be a more involved process for installation. This will include running wires and splicing wires.
