yea, your cd display should be on CD 8.

read the owners manual that came with the usaspec.
section 3-3.

CD 8? I only have 1 thru 6 CD buttons on my deck and everytime I reconnect my iphone it automatically goes to CD 5. CD 5 won't allow me to scroll through my ipod... only CD 6. Its just a convience thing for me... so everytime i want to scroll through my albums or music after I just connected it I have to open my radio cover and hit CD 6.

yea thats correct. you hit 6 to reach CD 8.
i guess in your case its CD 6.

5 goes down 6 goes up.
usually mine will stay on direct mode.
but its no problem to push 6.

I got mine today. Great product. my music sounds alot better then the CDs. Sounds more crisp and cleaner.
