I am having a few issues with my install of this product.

1. My iPod seems to play but only for a few seconds but that may be because it is barely charged. But isn't this supposed to charge the iPod while it plays?

2. I am having trouble removing the kickplate/dash to place the adapter in the behind the dash. any suggestions/hints/tips or pics would be of great help, thanks.
