+11whp gain over stock header!
Fits: All Year Models 2000-2009
Our third version of the Ballade Sports header offers a new feature that makes it OEM heat shield compatible! You can now run a stealth, "stock" appearing aftermarket header!
(Note: OEM heat shield not provided.)
This exhaust manifold features 5 step piping size to minimize reversion. Each step in size helps anti-reversion, the backing up of the exhaust flow. Our header boasts a +10-11whp gain over stock header untuned and a 12 lbs weight savings over stock (OEM is 25lbs). With some back to back dyno testing our header proved to make +8whp over the J's racing header without a tune! (Video below) Primary runners are 1.75 inch, to 1.875 inch, to 2.00 inch, to 2.25 inch, to 2.5 inch merge collector. Stepping the header pipe sizes helps direct exhaust flow increasing scavenging, thus allowing the exhaust flow to exit faster. The S2000 firing order is cyl 1-3-4-2, therefore our runner design is sequential. Cylinder runners 1 and 3 are paired along with 2 and 4 being paired. This creates a venturi effect speeding up the exhaust exit. This application fits standard factory catalytic converter location.

Is this a similar design to the Hytech?

This is our 4th version of our Ballade Header, originally released back in 2013. Many header designs were used as a benchmark to ensure our design was the most optimal for mid range and peak performance, fitment and style.
