Have these always been produced from the same place? I love the look but the one I had on my previous car was terribly raspy and loud under anything more than 50-60% throttle yet I've heard video from others where it wasn't so bad. I'd love to have another one but afraid I'll be dealing with the same sound issues.

It was fine paired with the stock cat but no one wants to run it like that. I had run with both a TP and the EVS HFC and still found it so raspy.

I still wonder to this day if I just didn't get a bad one. Compared to the 70EM single (which is what I have now and one of my all time favorites) how would you say the sound should be? Is the EVS single louder from your experience?

same manufacturer, evs is slightly louder than the t1r mainly on higher rpm. this exhaust always had some sort of rasp.
