With big power comes big need for a twin disc... but not at a big cost!

A lot of you guys shooting for higher torque numbers really need to do either a 6 puck or a twin disc. 6 pucks are the lower cost alternative (575 with enclosed springs and OEM bearings) but they tend to be very grabby. This makes it hard to drive in stop and go traffic or even for trailer loading. The grabby nature can also shock load the driveline if not shifted with care.

Twin discs help to retain drivability but allowing a bit more slip. It also doubles the clamping force without doubling the pedal pressure! They also dissipate heat better - this is important for you guys that track. Downsides? They're a bit noisy. Reduced mass to damp power pulses and more components mean you'll hear more lash and driveline noise at idle. They're also expensive... but we're here to help on that one.
