Some OEM bearings may still be ok, but it is worth changing while doing a clutch job since the cost of labor to do so usually isnt cheap. If you have to replace the bearing only later, it would basically cost as much as a clutch job.

How would you compare the Stage 2 vs OEM in terms of pedal effort and feel?

Dave,

Stage 2 and OEM have very similar pedal pressure feel and is not stiff at all. If you prefer a stiffer feel you might prefer an ACT kit.
