Will these reap similar benefits when fitted with a high flow convertor? Looking for an option for an STR car that's still street driven, so reducing drone would be a plus, as would the added midrange.

The Gern Pipes have a HFC included with them.
The STR has less drone reduction as we have to alter the midpipe shape to meet STR rules.

Depends on the exhaust. There are dozens of exhaust and they all have connection points.
This will work with T1R Dual sparrow or Invida as well as our options. Just about anything else will require customization.

We have a built in HFC so we have designed it to connect to the header.
It would require a new jig and a bit of back and forth test fitting to connect to the cat. The cost would be high for a one off.

With stock ECU it will, but it is easily curable with a defouler.

How much quieter is the V4 compared to the V3? The video (of the V3), along with commentary, seems to indicate that it's quite loud. Can we request quieter mufflers?

The V4 is about the same.
Yes it can get loud under WOT at higher RPM, but that is what pass through mufflers sound like.
Also, that lack of resistance is needed to get that 10 hp top.

At partial throttle and lower RPMs, the sound is not too loud based upon feedback.

We do push for turn down tips as concrete and asphalt absorb some quite well and noticeably reduce the sound.

We can try a larger oval muffler that will knock off a few dbs, but it will heavier and add about $100 cost.

Thank you for the great question.
