Introducing the ALL NEW SA-72R Motor Sport Racing Edition 17" Sizes!
17x9 +42 Approx. Weight: 19.2 lbs / wheel

These wheels were developed with a higher quality in mind based on feedback from North America circuits to find the proper combinations for an S2000 chassis. For most of us the most cost effective wheel that could take a beating jumping off the bus stop or sunset at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, or the multiple 2x offs while learning the limits of a new tire while still retaining very good radial run out came down to the TC105N from WedSport. It is no surprise that all of the Speed Freaks USA group of cars Piloted by Edwin, Matt, Anish, and so on utilized the TC105N through the end of 2014... and then we found that there was something lacking. We needed wider wheels as we discovered the input necessary at the steering wheel with a 255 stretched at 10" was much less than expected with the new compound of tires available to us. We were moving faster with 17x10s, and so we all had moved on to 17x10 by 2014.. and thus the development of a new range of rim widths began at WedsSport to fill the new requirements- The target audience of which are grassroot and club racers.
As tire technology become increasingly better on grip, strength and rigidity is more important than ever. Weds have shown their commitment to the N. American market by collaborating with Weds Wheels North America and develop these new 17" wide SA72R wide sizes. WedsSport engineers have carefully design the 17" 72R with strength, rigidity, brake clearance and price in mind, making these wheels affordable without sacrificing quality.
Standard colors will be limited to Circuit Black (Matte Black) and Apex Silver. SBC may be an option but would carry an additional cost (TBD how much).

First couple sets of the 17x9.5 are spoken for and there are only a few left on this first order. We will be bringing in a couple set of 17x9s and 17x10s as well!
