Limited Run OEM Converted Bucket Seat Rail
Hello everyone,
We have figured out a method to modify the OEM S2000 seat rail and convert it for the use of bucket side mount seats. This style is very similar look to the discontinued Mugen Seat Rails for 00-05 S2000s. To modify the OEM seat rails is a lot of work for one set, so we are only planning on making a total of 20 seat for people. We only have enough brackets and material for 20 seats. This is a limited production run due to the labor it takes to modify each seat slider. We will not make these again. This will be a one time thing, so if you this interests you, you will need to mail us your original OEM seat rails unbolted from the stock seats.
The service for modification is $350 plus $20 shipping back to you. If you are located in CA then 7.75% sales tax applies. Payment can be sent via paypal to info@balladesports.com Turn around time will be 3 weeks. If we do not receive your seat rail with 14 days of your purchase, then we will cancel your order in favor for anyone else looking to have this done.
For the 06+ passenger side we were also able to modify the OEM rail for the use of weight sensors:
Note: Passenger side weight sensors are serial number coded from Honda. The air bag light will come on if a rail from another car is put in the passenger side. The air bag light may or may not come on if the weight sensor does not recognize the correct weight, but this can be re-programmed by a Honda dealer ship along with the serial number coding. However, the good news is we connected our Snap-On scanner into a car with the air bag light on and the car itself still enables and disables the passenger air bag when someone sit in it or doesn't sit in it. The air bag light is to notify there is an issue but does not disable its entire function.
