CE28 lovers, this is a must see!
Volk Racing is doing a custom run of wheels for us and it's really unique. I know many are still looking for CE28Ns, but they are gone from Volk's production.

This is what they offered.
CE28SL which is off the CE28n mold, but a slight twist. Lighter, stronger and cheaper! No enter caps and no extra holes machined in the middle for a stronger hub and wheel.

Wheel Volk Racing CE28SL
Size 17x9.5+46 - unicorn fitment - flush to fender, tab relocation needed and NO PULL.
Face 2 - concave with a big lip - similar to 17x+10+45 with better fender clearance
HERE is the kicker, the face is concave but pretty good about clearing BBKs!
Brembo kit - will clear no spacer
Stoptech kit - 3mm spacer
Haven't checked AP and Spoon, but will work on it ASAP

COLORS - this wheel has never been made in these colors. As far as I know, at this moment... you will have very exclusive wheels globally!
I have not seen the CE28SL wheel in these colors, sorry I cannot provide that.

was there no way to make this happen without the machined lip?

 

From what I understand, only the pressed graphite comes with the machined lip? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Gruppe-S, how much do these weigh? I believe the CE28N in 17x9.5 +47 is a little less than 16 lbs. It would be great if these weigh even less than that!

Also, do you offer valve stems in different colors like Evasive does?

 

Only the PG comes with the machined lip, but has a smoke clear coat over it, so it's not bright. It's a subdued smoke silver, You are right.
I think double pressed black comes with a machined lip, but I didn't ask if it was available in the CE28SL.

 

The CE28n and the CE28sl are off the same mold, weight size, very very close.
I think they said the SL is a little stiffer, but they tried to lighten the center cap area, it doesn't allow for a cap.

You are splitting hairs when it comes to weight, it might be gram differences. The strength and rigidity is more important at this weight range. We are not talking lbs.

 

I see. Does the buyer have a choice in the valve stem color?

 

Yes, your choice is red or red. Unfortunately, they have not given me choice on valve stem or spoke sticker.
If you want, I can order your other colors at cost if you buy the wheels.
