Default caliper rebuilds in tampa

hey guys im suspecting my rear calipers are sticking ever since i did my brake upgrade about 1 month ago. Its sticking on and off when it wants to and yesterday my rear wheel was really hot and the rotors were getting blue. I had trouble turning the left rear piston back in when i was installing the new setup so i just want to take of both rear and use my oem honda rebuild kit and take them somewhere to get the finished up.

any suggestions to where i can take it or is there anyone on here that has the knowledge and tools to do them properly?

thanks

tyrell

From what I've seen/read, most caliper rebuilds replace the seals thar are in place to prevent damage from happening.

The cylinder and piston in the caliper need to be smooth; any thing that has damaged one could have damaged to the other as well. Many shops will gladly rebuild your calipers and replace the pistons, but this only solves part of the problem and there could still be rust/scoring on the cylinder wall.

Not saying you shouldn't look into the rebuild, but it's something to keep in mind.

It's $120 for a rebuilt caliper from Majestic Honda. Not too bad considering that the rebuilt kit is $20 and the piston is $23.

Just get a remanufactured set from Discount Auto Should be less than $120 for both once you do a core exchange. They are the Nissin brand. FYI they manufacture the majority of OEM parts. Same as OEM and they come with a warranty. Just be sure to bleed them afterwards.
