I thought I would start a thread about the usual meet up spot and also a forum to start a discussion on our route this year.

First things first, the meet up and departure times:

The usual place Cracker Barrel at SR 50 and I-75

Address:Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 30405 Cracker Crossing Brooksville, FL 34602

If you want breakfast be there when they open at 6:00AM, if you are skipping breakfast then meet at 6:45AM and be ready (gased up) to depart at 7:00AM

Please chime in here if you are meeting at CB so we have a list of who we are expecting

The route we normally take is I-75 to Jasper Fl where we get on Hwy #129 and heard north on all back roads to Dillard GA. This year we are staying in Highlands which is a little bit further north and east so I am asking the group to please chime in on the idea of taking I-75 further north before cutting over to back roads. Possibly as far north as Macon.

I personally am not a fan of Interstate driving in the S however if we do this we could save as much as an hour and use it on the backside of the day into Highlands.

I am only putting this out for discussion and I will go with the majority of how the group feels so please chime in with your thoughts and or ideas.

We did 75 the past two years, it's boring and terrible lol

Jen and I are in for anything but would prefer back roads. As long as were not on 75 past Macon, that's fine.

Me and my buddy tom in his ap1 will be meeting everyone at cracker barrel. I'm fine with whatever you guys choose for the route, saving an hour might be nice...

I'm a new S2K owner in Tampa and wanted to introduce myself (prob not the best thread to do so but didn't want to make my own thread about it, lol). While I'm unable to attend this event as my S is currently being fixed after a fender bender, I'd like to start taking part in local events, getting involved and start soaking up as much knowledge as I can from you boys.
