I bought a lightly modded S2000 from my brother and drove the sucker from Los Angeles to Clarksville (Fort Campbell).

Problem is, the car being in LA for 5 years, it has its share of nicks and dings.

I'm looking at getting the front and rear bumper repainted. Sand down - Repaint, problem is I haven't dealt with any body shops in the area.

While were on this, I was wondering if anybody could refer me to a trustworthy mechanic in this area. Normally I would do light maintenance jobs, but I no longer have access to a lift.

I found a little bit of info through the archived threads and there appears to be good mechanics around here but there was nothing specific.

Any info would appreciated.

I understand the best S2000 mechanic in our area is at your local Honda Dealer there in Clarksville. I think his name is Pojo. I have not met him but they say he is the guy to take your car to.

there are a couple of private aftermarket mechanics as well that know their stuff too. One's name is Chris Rodent, he just got his own shop in Hermitage, I'll try and get his shop #, I'm not sure if he'd appreciate me handing out his personal #.
Another one is Carter Thompson. He just did a motor swap in my car. His # is 615.969.9337, tell him Arthur sent ya.

neither one of these guys are maintenance kinda guys, but if you need mods done/parts fabricated that are beyond your resources, give them a call.

i have did my own motor swap, tranny swap on a dif, occasion, brakes, cv's, and built multiple civics... so i might know a bit here and there....i'm also looking for a good body shop i want my fenders rolled and pulled and wanna go satin black or satin army green with my s2k

not to thread jack but iwas gonna sell it but the market kinda blows and ill have it payed off in 6-8 months so i sad screw it...a payed for toy is hard to pass up.
