Hey Guys. Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum. I'm from Chattanooga, TN. Long time BMW owner. My last car was a 2007 BMW Z4M supercharged. I used to love going up to deals gap with my cousin and tearing up the roads. But then I had the need for a truck when I bought my house. I bought a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4. I enjoy having a 4x4 but it's boring to drive every day.

My grandfather had an 04 S2K that he barely drove but loved it. I've had a friend that's bought about 10 of them throughout the years. I'm looking for the 10-15k range. Something that doesn't need a ton of work. How many miles is too many? I've seen them in the 11k range with 140k miles. Thanks guys looking forward to meeting the group. Going to be actively looking for a S2K.

Hey Steenos, Welcome.

You probably hear this all the time, but Condition is more important than mileage. I wouldn't be scared of 100k miles plus, if the owner was competant, or had proof of upkeep. There are obvious signs of neglect, so be patient and find the one that's right for you.

Hey, glad you're part of the group. I joined recently, as well, as I just purchased my first S2000 in late April of this year. Are you looking for a specific model year? Any preference between AP1 and AP2?
