New in Nashville
 

Hello everyone. My name is John and I am on the lookout for an S2000 to own in the near future. Currently have a 2012 Focus SE as a daily. Traded in my 06 STi for it. Before the Subie, I had an Evo 8 RS. I have gotten used to turbo and AWD, lol. I really want an S2k now though. Other than it's a Honda, I know next to nothing about these cars. Only got to drive one once at a dealer. That just fueled the fire to buy one! Really want to get to know the car and learn as much as possible before I take possession of one. Are there any meets or hangouts that happen? Coming from a big Subie group to here is a big change. Hope to make some new friends here and learn a bunch!

The group has gotten smaller of the years, but it seems to be growing again.

Right now, C&C is a big meet. When I get back stateside and get another S, I'll try and get more meets going when I can.

Welcome to the forums. I'm usually around the Franklin area. Let me know if you want to meet up some time...the group is small but if you want to meet more people, check the Dragon subforum for the meet at the dragon in a few weeks. There you will meet a lot of good people and a wide range of s2000s modified and stock. It's a 4 hour drive but an awesome meet. I have a wedding to go to that weekend otherwise I'd offer to caravan with you and attend the entire weekend.

Wouldn't mind meeting up one day after C&C. I only have a Focus for now, lol.

One thing you'll find is our group is pretty diverse and open...my friends with Volvo R sedans came to the last Dragon event and had a great time. We have ex owners come in with Vettes and Miatas and Lexuses...but they all share their love and respect for the s2000 :-)

That's the kind of group I would like to be a part of!
