Got a minor annoying problem. Gauge cluster lights on speed reading are dimmer than normal for about 15 min then brighten to normal level. I'm guessing the bulbs are about to go.
Jordan I know you did heavy work on gauge clusters, how many bulbs I need to replace and any idea what kind?

That's not caused by your bulbs. The condition you're describing is caused by a failing voltage regulator in the Alternator. Unfortunately the only option is to replace the whole Alternator since it's built in.
Incandescent lights will only change brightness due to fluctuations in voltage. Kinda like when you have lights on in your house and your A/C kicks on, they dim for just a second. It's because for that split second they aren't receiving the full voltage they normally do.
Also, Russell, I didn't actually go THROUGH the TrueCar website. Just used it as a free tool to gauge what I should pay for the new car. Didn't even mention it to them until after I had sealed a deal.

If it's isolated to that portion then I would imagine you have some sort of connection issue. If it goes from dim to bright, it's simply caused by a fluctuation of voltage and/or possibly a connection issue. I thought you had meant that the whole cluster goes dim/flickers etc.
