I almost bought a Z3M coupe way back in 99, it was only until I realized golf clubs wouldn't fit in the trunk. I ended up with a GS400 Lexus instead. Funnily enough, I tried buying a Boxster from the Porsche dealer next door to Lexus and they all ignored me, I literally went next door and bought the Lexus.

Golf Clubs!? You couldn't fit a set in the Miata, s2000 or a Fiat...

Never tried in the S, so I dunno, probably same as Miata.

Never tried in the Fiat either, they'd fit with the back seat folded down though.

I don't really play much golf anymore, back in 99 I was on a golf league so I played a lot. Last 10 years or so has been relatively golf free, but back in 99 it was a big deal to me. Hell, I worked at a golf course when I lived in Houston
