S2000 availability in East Tennessee
 

First time on your board - thinking about a new or used S2000. Does your group list used cars for sale? Are ther any dealers nearby with new 2002 vehicles that are reasonably priced? Who up in this area (Kingsport) owns an S2000 and might provide some info? Thanks for any help.

I know there are few used ones for sale here in Knoxville. I've seen a few in the paper and Airport Honda has a used one for sale as well. PM Mack- he was looking to sell his 01 Spa If he could get a decent price. As far as dealers go, Morristown will sell for MSRP. But if you are willing to travel to Chicago or the northeast you should be able to do better than that. These cars don't sell too well in the winter up there.

I was in Kingsport last week looking at BMW's. I am thinking about getting another car. I have an 01 silverstone with around 25k miles. It has 18 inch wheels, jdm side markers, Rick's clear diffusors in the head lights, Rick's console cover and the OEM front lip.

I also saw an new 02 in Hickory NC last week, Spa yellow.

Where is Kingsport? I take it that Kingsport and Kingsport Beach are nowhere near each other. Kingsport Beach is just north of Iuka MS

Kingsport is in East Tennessee about 90 miles north-east of Knoxville. A little off the beaten path I guess for a car like the S2000.

Looking in the paper today in Knoxville there are 4 used S2000's for sale.

Also Airport Honda a has a red and the Lexus dealer has a silverstone.

I've got a buddy who lives just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta. He just told me that the local Honda dealer there has 4 or 5 2002 S2000's on their lot at the moment. They quoted a price to him that was about $500 below MSRP before any dickering started. He can't afford one right now and I'm waiting for a 2003 model myself but if your interested you might e-mail them and try to talk them down to Chicago prices. I talked with them but the best they would do on the phone was sticker for the 2002's - they apparantly have 3 in stock. He may call back tomorrow with a more aggressive offer. Thanks a lot for the lead.
